Are you ready to start working on a standing desk, but you don’t want to splurge hundreds of dollars right away? Your next best choice is a standing desk converter that comes at a much more affordable price. The Rocelco ADR Height Adjustable Sit Stand Desk Computer Riser is a sturdy, stable product, ideal for people who need enough room for multiple monitors and all their other gadgets.

If you’re on the hunt for a product that can replace a standing desk, you’ve got to read this review. I researched every single detail about the desk riser, used it for months, and I’m finally ready for the verdict.

Below you’ll find all the pros and cons of the Rocelco ADR converter, with details about the construction, use, and features that make it an excellent purchase.

Pros

Fits Up To Three Monitors

One of the top pros I wanted to talk about in this Rocelco ADR review is the size of the desk. Its workplace can fit up to two 32” monitors, which is perfect for people who work with multiple monitors simultaneously. Another excellent feature is that the retractable 11.6” keyboard tray can also fit another monitor when you need it.

The weight capacity of the converter is 30 lbs, so that’s something to keep in mind when placing your technology on it; however, I’ve tested it with multiple monitors and the converter had no trouble lifting 30 lbs within seconds.

Highly Adjustable

One of the essential features you need to look for in a desk converter is high adjustability. If you want a product to be ergonomic, it needs to be customizable to fit your needs. In other words, the converter has to adapt to your height and allow a natural body position without eyestrain, back pain, or improper body posture.

Working on a standing desk is an excellent choice; however, these desks can be quite an investment. If you’re not ready to splurge on one, you should try the Rocelco ADR Height Adjustable Desk Converter because it basically has the same purpose.

First of all, the height adjustment is a piece of cake. There are five different settings, starting from the lowest at 4.75”, and you can increase it in 4” increments up to 16.75” for an ergonomic work posture.

There is a 4.5” space between the retractable keyboard and the work surface, which is not adjustable. This is the ideal spacing between the two surfaces because it allows your arms and wrists to be in a neutral position when you’re standing. It will prevent back, neck, and wrist pain.

Rocelco added a simple gas spring mechanism to their desk converter so that anyone can adjust the height with ease. All you need to do is to use slight force upward or downward to change the position of the workspace. The lift lever is located in the front, where you can easily reach it and put it into action.

Locking Mechanism

Another essential feature to mention is the locking mechanism. Once you settle on a position, you can lock the converter into place. It’s very straightforward to use, and it will only take you a few seconds to lock it to your preferred height.

Once you do, there’s no way that the workplace will move. The locking mechanisms are in the back, though, so you’ll probably need to get up to secure the position.

Retractable Keyboard Tray

The keyboard drawer is located right under the work tray, and it’s retractable. As I mentioned before, this sturdy drawer can hold another monitor or laptop instead whenever you need it to.

The space between the two trays is 4.5” to provide the ultimate ergonomic position for your arms and wrists.

No Assembly Required

What you see is what you get! Once you unpack the desk converter from the packaging, it’s ready to use. There’s no assembly required; all you need to do is place it on your desk and start working.

Various Color And Size Options

This might not be the first thing you look for in an ergonomic desk converter, but the Rocelco Sit To Stand Adjustable Desk is available in three colors: white, grey, and black. If matching your desk to the interior of your office is one of your priorities, this is definitely a product you’ll love.

The converter also comes in two sizes. The first option features a workspace that’s 32” wide and 20.6” deep, while the second option is 37.5” wide and 20.5” deep. Both versions can fit up to two 32” monitors.

Cons

It’s Expensive

High quality comes at a price! This is one of the sturdiest, highest-quality desk converters I’ve tried in the past few years, but it’s slightly more expensive than similar alternatives.

The larger version of the desk converter is costlier than the smaller ones, and the difference in size is 5.5”. Is this product worth your money? I have to say yes!

The construction is very sturdy, durable, and highly adjustable. In addition, it fits three monitors/laptops with ease, which not many other converters at this price do.

Final Thoughts

Should the Rocelco Standing Desk Converter be your next purchase? If you want a sturdy, durable product that comes in multiple colors and sizes, then this one is it.

The highly adjustable nature makes it an excellent ergonomic converter that can fit up to three monitors, two on the work surface and one on the retractable keyboard tray. In addition, the distance between the work tray and keyboard drawer will keep your wrists and arms in a neutral position, preventing neck, back, and wrist pain while working on your ergonomic keyboard.

The Rocelco converter might be a little more expensive than you expected, but it’s worth every single dollar. It’s quite spacious, easy to use, and doesn’t require any assembly.
