Fellowes Microban Split Ergonomic Wired Keyboard Review

Video Reviews

Here’s our ergonomic video review of the day. Check out “Fellowes Microban Split Ergonomic Wired Keyboard Review.”

Need a relatively inexpensive split design keyboard? Check out this review of the Fellows Split which retails for under $45. This keyboard is only designed for Windows users and is a bit older so the features only list up to Windows 7, though it works perfectly fine with Windows 10.

This keyboard is not listed as Mac compatible but it is, with some limitations. The top row special buttons do not work. These are shortcuts for launching a search, a web browser, email, and volume.

This keyboard claims to have Microban coating which is an antimicrobial coating. According to Microban, this coating is designed to keep things cleaner and control odors by preventing microbe growth.

This is a USB keyboard and doesn’t come with a wireless option. If you are using this with an older Windows machine, you may need to download firmware from Fellowes.com. Anything Windows 7 or newer this keyboard will work without any configuration or software.

This keyboard is just slightly cheaper than a similar Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, though the ergonomics on the Fellowes is better in my opinion and this keyboard, especially the space bar, is much quieter than the Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 (our review of the Microsoft 4000).

Not everyone can afford a $200 keyboard. This is one of the better options under $50.
